Played the first round of Tiny Epic Pirates today! 🦜⚓️🏴 ☠️
Wow! What a great material is in the box again.
Since I bought the game from the secondary market and there is a beautiful inlay from @feldherr_net in it, building and tidying up is a dream! 👍🏻😊
I don’t even want to know how complicated it is to clean up the vast amount of play material. 😅
The aim of the game is to bury 3 treasures first as a pirate. To do this, you have to collect Dublons by looting loot in distant villages or intercepting and raiding commercial ships on their routes. The loot is then sold and that’s how you get the important doubloons.
But what would a Pirate Captain be without his crew? A nothing 🤣
That’s why you can hire such members and thus strengthen the strength of your own pirate ship. 💪🏻
Since it was only the first game, a final verdict is of course premature, but Pirates is arranging themselves behind Tiny Epic Dungeons. I also think Dungeons is better teamed up though, the Pirates need more teammates.
Planning your own trains in advance is nice and makes it slightly knobbly, but the spark has not yet been skipped so correctly. I hope a 3rd or 4th round brings a different feel to the game here.

Heute die erste Runde Tiny Epic Pirates gespielt! 🦜⚓️🏴☠️
Wow! Was steckt da wieder für ein tolles Material in der Box.
Da ich das Spiel auf dem Sekundärmarkt erworben habe und ein schönes Inlay von @feldherr_net dabei ist, ist der Aufbau und das wieder einräumen ein Traum! 👍🏻😊
Ich möchte gar nicht wissen, wie kompliziert es ist, wenn man das sehr umfangreiche Spielmaterial, wieder einräumen muss. 😅
Ziel des Spiel ist es, als Pirat 3 Schätze als erster zu vergraben. Dazu muss man Dublonen sammeln, indem Beute in fernen Dörfern plündert oder Handelsschiffe auf ihren Routen abfängt und überfällt. Die Beute wird dann verkauft und so erhält man die wichtigen Dublonen. 🪙
Aber was wäre ein Piraten Capitain ohne seine Crew? Ein Nichts 🤣
Deshalb kann man eben solche Mitglieder anheuern und damit die Stärke des eigenen Piratenschiffes verstärken. 💪🏻
Da es erst die erste Partie war, ist ein finales Urteil natürlich verfrüht, aber Pirates ordnet sich bei uns deutlich hinter Tiny Epic Dungeons ein. Ich glaube aber auch, dass sich Dungeons besser zu zweit spielt, Pirates braucht mehr Mitspieler.
Das Vorausplanen der eigenen Züge ist zwar schön und macht es leicht knobelig, aber so richtig ist der Funke noch nicht übergesprungen. Ich hoffe, eine 3er oder 4er Runde vermittelt hier noch ein anderes Spielgefühl.
