Heroes of Land, Air & Sea is a 4X-style game published by @gamelyngames for 1-4 heroes. In this game, players will be choosing a faction and competing against other factions in an effort to win the game in one of 4 ways. Players can win by exploring all the unknown land, expanding their kingdom, exploiting the land with their forces or exterminating another player. Players will be managing their resources while building structures to add to their capital city and to other lands. These buildings can give the player new units or even sea and air vessels to aid in battle. The first player to achieve 1 of the 4X conditions triggers the end game. Players then tally up victory points and whoever has the most victory points wins the game.
We instantly fell in love with this game on the first play! It’s a blend of area control and resource management that is very well implemented. Each faction is unique and provides a different gaming experience. The miniatures are very well designed and the boards are beautiful. The big standout of this game is the air and sea vessels! Each faction has its own unique components giving them a great table presence. We also love developing the capital and unlocking new abilities for our faction. There is so much to explore in this game and it keeps us coming back for more! We recommend this game for anyone looking for a 4X experience with a great game length and an epic fantasy theme.
